... okay, that's definitely not such a bad idea, the Benz purred back, letting part of his energy field brush along her side. So, hey pretty, wanna take a ride with me? he flirted, giving her a playful nudge as he slowed just a little more, conscious of the fact that his size and higher centre of gravity made their play just that bit more dangerous - Dissever enjoyed the challenge.

Blizzard's engine revved as Dissever's energy field passed over her side. A ride, huh? Dissever, honestly, you don't want to know what that has me thinking. She slammed on her brakes and watched as the Benz shot past her. Once he had, her tired squealed, she shot forward and she tapped the CMO's aft.

The Benz eased on his brakes, slightly startled when Blizzard dropped back; the tap on his rear had him making a sound halfway between an indignant yelp and a 'whazzafrag?' kind of noise. He let himself drift sideways before snapping back on track.
Darlin', I have no idea what's got you so fascinated back there.

Moving back beside him and once again nudging his side, she chuckled and purred over the comm. I think you very well know what I find so fascinating back there. It's only the finest aft I've ever seen. And that's saying a lot considering how damn old I am.

Heh. Damn. Well, I'd ask how old you are, but you know what they say, you never ask a femme her age. Mischief carried through the comms, making it seem like he was speaking through his usual cheeky, lopsided grin.

I'm so damn old that I can remember long before the war started. Frag... You know I was there when Megatron called for gladiators from all over Cybertron. What a mess that was! Blizzard was lost in her own memories for a while. Yeah, so they say that about femmes, but not mechs, so go on then ya geezer, how old are you?

Me? Geezer? Now if that don't bring up images of some crabby rickety old frame propped up on a pair of spindle-legs... Heh, I can't believe you were actually there. Musta been some sight. I'd been a couple of... months out of Medical when we got word. He moved in silence for a bit, glad for a chance to stretch out little-used machinery. But yeah. Babe, you saw history made, he teased good-naturedly.

Heh, yeah, suppose I did. He got quite a few mech's attention that day, that's for sure. The day Kaon fell... Damn... Thought the Pit had opened up and swallowed the city whole. Wholesale carnage, that's what it was. Blizzard spoke quietly. She hadn't ever really regretted being a Decepticon, but being a medic meant that she hated pointless deaths.

A quick shiver ran through the Benz. Not liking it, he brushed another quick flare of his energy field over her flank, comforting. Kaon was a message, wasn't it? Dissever fell silent for a bit, then edged in, close enough to almost touch. Must've been hard. Might've been harder if she'd been part of the med team going through the field.

The touch soothed her for a moment, but too many memories were hitting her all at once. A weak laugh came through the comm. Heh, yes, it was a message alright. One written in spilt energon. She slowed a bit for a moment and then came even with Dissever sending out a flare of her own field against him. Never mind. That was a long, long, long time ago.

"M'easily relaxed," the saboteur quipped quickly, not accounting for the recent changes - those were some things he didn't like to bring into the equation so soon. He hadn't even gotten around to accepting some things himself. What he did notice and accept easily was Prowl's stance, and the crowd closing in around them. Nope, afterall, Prowl had spent most of his existence with doorwings - being crowded couldn't be very pleasant. "You, git," he laughed, shooing the tactician back towards the edge of the crowd. "This wouldn' be th' place f'r a mech usedta havin' wings."
---
:Oh yes, that's definitely a given.: The golden twin shot back, the amusement showing over the comm that was solely between himself and his brother, already starting on a design primarily in gold. He hadn't even gotten to giving it some depth with the black when Red Alert's comm came through. Scowling at his work being interrupted - but not at the idea of getting out - the Lamborghini did exit the brig, but at a much more leisurely pace. The slight bit of painting had gotten him into a good mood from displacement. :Gonna stay in quarters the rest of the day, Sideswipe?:
---
Y'u try t'do a good job u'waitin' then, Red, the fire engine chuckled before getting FireBond to put his box down. "I promise - I ain't gunna take it." The sparkling eyed him suspiciously before setting it down, "Promise?" "Cross mah spark." The silver bundle of parts seemed content with that answer, and Inferno managed to run the - still mostly muddy - sparkling through the washracks. "Run" being the operative word. It took no time for Fire to declare himself clean, and Inferno to start leading him to control again - but ended up carrying him and his adoptive box through the door. "Well, guess w're back, Red."
---
Eugh, it was a bad sign when the femme got that tone in her voice. It normally meant an idea that would probably get him slagged something serious. But, after all, he was a Seeker, and Seekers were known for jumping before looking. "A few things; training, drinking, sitting around as a 'Con. Before that? Going out 'on the town' as the humans like to put it, and, how does it go? 'Painting the town red'?"

WakeJumper seemed to finally figure out what Ratchet was wanting him to do. The youngling moved let go of the medic, and moved to stand near Deluge, still having a hard time standing still.

You are old, he breathed lightly, soft hint of a chuckle moving through, same as the light shiver that coursed through him at the touch of her field. He retaliated, snapping his own field against red plating and ending with a slow glide that went from prow to stern.
--------------------
"That you are," he muttered, digging his heels in. "I don't have doorwings now," Prowl shot back. "I can stay." With you, came the mental addition. On the off-chance that anything happened, he could respond faster.

"Why am I not surprised?" The mech questioned out loud from Deluge's comm as he slipped into the medbay, carefully avoiding the black mech still lingering at the entrance. Glancing once over at the CMO, Downrush had to snicker quietly. "When it rains, it pours, huh?" Of course, he was talking about the amount of visitors in the mech's space, what else would he be talking about...

"Something epic," the inventor said, shaking his head before cycling his vents. "It's always something epic after a spell of silence from them. Which means we'd better be 'on our toes'." The Lancia had to chuckle at the human phrase. Really, some of them were straight off the wall.

Ratchet barely caught himself from rolling his optics skyward.
"Very appropriate," he muttered, nodding to the newcomer.

Deluge looked at WakeJumper and smiled slightly. She couldn't help being amused at his eagerness - she remembered her own excitement to get a full protoform. She glanced up and nodded when Downrush entered. "Hey. Any idea where Calypso is?" Or did she get overcharged and passed out in the quarters...again? she added over the Aquabot commline.

The mech paused to glance over at the femme before groaning and shaking his head. "No idea where she wandered off to - no telling." Probably. Gonna hafta replace another member of the team at this rate, ain't I..?

.:Nope, why? You got an idea?:. Sideswipe continued to lay on his berth as he waited to see what Sunny had in mind.
~*~*~*~
Red turned and smiled at FireBond, “Hello there! Did you have a nice time with Inferno? I hear you have a box. Can I see what’s in your box? Red momentarily looked up at Inferno and flashed him a smile. Glad you’re back.
~*~*~*~
Nightstrike smiled, “Sounds fun. C’mon.” She pulled him outside the base, transformed and flew away.
~*~*~*~
Oh, well th- Blizzard’s comm was cut off with a slight static and she shook at the contact. F-frag Dissever! Go easy on an oldie like me!

Hopefully not, considering it takes for-fragging-ever to. Deluge rolled her optics. "Anyway. Gotta talk about the squirt's full proto - he wants to be a triplechanger."

"hey! I'm notta squirt..." WakeJumper pouted a little, giving Deluge and Downrush a slightly irked look.
