Twilight squinted against the scrubby onslaught. "Oh, ok..." Maybe asking questions at the moment was not the best idea. So she just sat, shifting as much larger fingers indicated that she should, and for all the world trying not to look like a drowned petrorat.
-------
He moaned and let his helm fall back, then his whole frame tensed. Raven... ughhh, sweet fraggin' Primus...
Rewire tightened his jaw and fought for control before his mate knocked him offline with a few choice touches. He growled, rolled and pinned Raven beneath him. A glint in his optics; a quick strum to chest components, then a squeeze to a coolant line.
-------
You do a better job than you think. Sometimes I might fly ahead, but I'd never leave you behind.
The blue and silver copter rocked back and forth in the equivalence of a head tilt. True to her word, Cloudburst stayed by Redstar's side.

Red Alert’s shift had finally ended, which, for once, he was thankful for. The after effects of being overcharged had greatly worn off while discussing things with Optimus, another thing he had been thankful for. During his shift, he had thought about what Prime had told him and fully believed that he was right in saying to not worry about what others thought. Really, he did. It’s just with Red, that kind of thing was easier said than done.
Leaving the control room, he commed Inferno. I’m done with my shift and will be in the common room shortly. I need to track down FireBond... Oh Primus! Red had run a scan and picked his son’s signature up in the medbay. Always assuming the worst, Red made a mad dash there, babbling as he entered the room.
“WhereIsHe?WhereIsFireBond?OhForPrimusSakeIfHe’sHurtI’llNeverForgiveMyself!”

Nightstrike nodded slowly and frowned, “Indeed. If anyone should know that, it is I.” She watched Megatron for a bit, thinking, and quietly adding, “If someone had told all the things that have happened to me I would have never believed it.” Once again she went quiet and rested her elbow on the arm of the chair and cupped her chin in her hand. “The thing is, from my own perspective at least, I feel that I have been fortunate.” She smiled, her optics dancing with amusement, “And to put you at ease, I don’t mean it in a mushy, sentimental way. Primus forbid it that I should show any sort of softness. It might reflect poorly upon you, mightn’t it? ‘The Mighty Megatron’s femme is as weak as water’, they might say, eh?” Chuckling, she shook her head for a moment before looking up at him with earnestness and gratefulness in her optics, “I must confess that you... saved me.” She blinked and tilted her head at him. “There aren’t too many that could say that, I’m sure.”
She waved dismissively at what she had just said, sure that it would probably be something he really didn’t care to hear. “You must forgive me, I ramble something awful, but you know that.” In an attempt to gloss over it, she unsubspaced some energon and offered him a cube.
She settled back into her seat a bit more and peered at him over the edge of her cube, optic ridges raised, “So, tell me, my dear, what of your own future? What path, if any, have the auguries shown you?” Taking a sip, her optics still watched his every move.

Starscream shook his head and laughed. Well, if she’s already done all that, imagine what she’ll be like on the field of battle. He considered the still sleeping sparkling and gave a knowing smirk. I wonder if she’ll be anything like her mother. Nightstrike, for all her failings, could be very amusing.
~*~*~*~
Raven smiled against Rewire’s neck for a moment, pleased with the effect she had on him, and continued nip and kiss along the cabling and along his jaw. Then the tables were turned and she gave a little squeak as Rewire pinned her down. Smirking at what she read in his optics for a moment, she knew that he was going to get his own back. All thought was all swept away in a flood of pleasure at his touches and she tried to shift against his hands, trying to force them a bit deeper. Her fingers slid along seams in his side and down to his hips and beneath plating.
~*~*~*~
Aw, Cloudburst, ya didn’t really think I thought that did ya? I know you’d never leave. Just like I’ll never leave you. Now ya said ya needed a stretch. You go on an’ do just that. ‘Sides, I like ta watch ya fly.
Redstar still didn’t know what she saw in him, but he was glad that she saw something she liked and wanted to be by his side.

There was never a dull moment within the medbay, not even on a slow day. Wheeljack had intelligently decided to stay out of the way, and Bluestreak had finally gotten up out of the floor to sit on a berth nearby the inventor's. They both watched in silence as Ratchet caught the sparklings up and dunked them into a basin. The Lancia laughed and looked towards the strangely-silent Bluestreak. "Think they're gonna be as bad as the Twin Terrors?" That earned a grin and a flicker of doorwings that showed the gunner was amused, before Red Alert came crashing into the medbay. Wheeljack jerked his head around to look at the security director just as Blue's doorwings arched upwards in alarm. "Red," he commented levelly, making sure his voice remained neutral. "Don't worry 'bout the little bit - he just decided he wanted to give himself a new paint job." FireBond, at the moment, had become far more interested in the water than getting the remnants of paint off of him, so he was currently colored mainly in silver with a lot of chartreuse, some yellow, and just a little bit of orange. But the sound of someone's voice brought him back to Earth, and he peeked out over the edge of the basin. "Hi dad!"
---
Inferno had been brought out of his musings by Red Alert's comm, and was about to reply when the other mech broke off into something entirely different. Something, by the sound of his voice, couldn't be good. Red? Red! What th' Pit is goin' on?
---
Oh, Thundercracker did not like that look - it normally spelt something annoying and irritating. for the rest of them. Hopefully, she won't be as desperate the first time around, the Seeker replied calmly, but frowning at Starscream. After all, she's probably more.. informed about you and your tendencies. She seems to know a great deal about me - if I was you, I wouldn't hang around when she wakes up.

Red blinked at Wheeljack and his head whirled around at the sound of FireBond’s voice. A visible relief washed over Red and he rushed over to the basin. He did his best to look stern with his son, with hands on hips and scowl on his face, but his consternation gave way to amusement at the sight of his paint splattered son. Red chuckled softly and shook his head. “C’mere. Let me get the rest of that off you.” Red picked up a brush and started to carefully remove the rest of the paint. “You shouldn’t have run off like that. You should have stayed with your brother or Inferno.”
Speaking of which...
Sorry about that Inferno. When I did a scan to find FireBond, I located him in the medbay and assumed the worst. I’m nearly finished scrubbing this little terror up. You’re more than welcome to join us.
Smiling down at FireBond, he finished removing the last of the paint. “There, all clean now.” He plucked the sparkling from the basin, setting him on his knee and carefully dried him off. “All done. Now what do you say to Ratchet?”
And at this point, Red waited for an angry medic to dole out a huge heaping helping of retaliation.
~*~*~*~
Starscream laughed and shook his head.
Oh, please, Thundercracker. Nightstrike was never desperate. She damn well knew what she was doing all along.
He rested his elbows on the arms of the chair, laced his fingers together and rested his chin on them.
And don’t begin to tell me that you never experienced that particular delight. I happen to remember one night in particular where I believe she had all three of us.
He shook his head and smirked at the memory, the smirk turning to a wince at the thought that Nightstrike’s little dalliance had actually been a punishment for his fooling about with Shaba. His expression was dark, his brow furrowed and a frown upon his lips.
I was a fool, Thundercracker. I did my best to break her, to tear her apart, to twist her to my purpose. She was so... defiant, fiery. I had to have that, possess it and control it. In my attempt to do so, I ended up pushing her into Megatron’s bed and I nearly killed her in the process out of the sheer jealousy I felt. Yes, I was jealous. She was mine! Do I think Nightstrike’s warned her daughter about me? You can bet she has. She would be foolish not to.
Starscream slumped in his chair and gulped down the rest of his cube, a sour expression on his face.

No, the helicopter darted ahead of the Cougar and pirouetted to face it, still, I wanted to say it anyway.
Cloudburst backed up, then spun and darted between a few trees. You enjoy watching me fly? she laughed. I so rarely do anything that entertaining. Most of the time I am stuck going from point A to point B, or recon.
So he was right, it was nice to have a chance to mess about with acrobatics and more fun maneuvers. A few rapid climbs, dives and sudden halts, then she’d race, skimming along the ground. She laughed, since, for once, her speed as a flier was not the only thing that mattered. It had been a long time since she just got to play. But Cloudburst orbited Redstar, repeatedly circling back to him. Though sometimes I wish you could experience it.
-------
Rewire dove into a deep hungry kiss; he moved above Raven, reacting to her touch at his hips. He circled wires with his fingers, lighter; followed cabling towards her sparkhousing, firm pressure. Traced her lips with his glossa and chuckled, twisting his hand and gliding a gentle fingertip along the inside of Raven’s armor. Along the seam of her chestplate and pulsing a low charge.

Thanks, hun, an’ yup, I like ta see ya fly. ‘Specially now. I’m good on th’ ground though.
He watched as she flew about, enjoying herself and marvelling at how manoeuvrable and agile she was in the air. It did his spark good to see her happy, because, at the end of the day, that was all he really wanted. Smiling to himself, he drove along feeling quite content.
Gotta admit, though, I kinda have a love/hate thing with yer altmode. I hate that it puts ya against their flyers, but I love th’ way ya move.
~*~*~*~
Raven had been reduced to quivering and whimpering beneath Rewire. A loud shout came from her with the pulse to her chestplate. Her own hands twitched against his hips a few times before one made a shaky path beneath the armour of his back where it tangled in wiring and tugged gently. Each tug was emphasized by a light charge from her fingers. Her other hand slid up the seams over his stomach and then under his chestplate. Her fingers snaked around his spark chamber, her thumb sweeping over the seam in it a few times before squeezing gently. A shudder coursed through her frame and a soft mewl fell from her lips as her chestplate swept aside and her spark housing cracked a fraction of an inch.
~*~*~*~
Red looked over at Twilight and cocked his head. "Where are your parents, Twilight?" He ran a scan, locating them and and his faceplates flushed. "I know, why don't you come with me and FireBond once your done getting cleaned up, ok?"
