Okay, this list, while harsh-seeming, is a necessary evil. There are certain things in Role Playing that just are not kosher. Anyone proven guilty of any of these offenses will be banned, and depending on the severity of said offense, may not be welcomed back.
1. Bringing in Beast Wars or Beast Machines characters.
-We are a G1/Armada/Energon/Cybertron/2007 Movie Mixing Pot of an RPG, as those universes mix well with one another. The characters from one continuity could easily fit in with characters from a different continuity.
-By popular consensus, it has been deemed so.
2. God-modding
-We've had problems with this in the past, despite the warnings to knock it the slag off.
-Characters bordering on god-modding will not be approved until they are fixed.
3.Characters who can regen faster than Self-Repair normally takes.
-Again, we've had problems with this in the past.
-It fragging borders on God-Modding.
4.Gaybashing (even 'light-heartedly')
-Instaban. No exceptions.
5. Bringing a character that died in the RP back to life without a DAMN good reason and means for doing so.
-Unless the character has been deemed essential to the flow of the RP by the powers that be, and by general consensus.
-All reasons/means for resurrection MUST be submitted to the mods for approval. If the reason/means is deemed good enough, then yes, you may bring the character back to life.
6.Bringing Protoform X/Rampage Back for ANY reason.
-Just don't do it. We will ban you.
7.Giving the site to people we moved to escape from
-We moved here for a reason. Do this, and your name gets added to the banned list.
-Just don't do it. it's not cool.
8. Whining about standard operating procedures regarding the moving of volumes within the RP
-Standard operating procedure is as follows: One to two days prior, an admin will give warning, usually in one of the cboxes, or in rare instances via OOC, of the intention of locking and moving the current volume. This will usually be around 50 pages of posts, sometimes more, sometimes less, but we shoot for 50 pages or so.
-After the volume is locked, a new volume is started, and the prior volume is moved to the archives.
-Do not whine that you were 'not ready' for the volume change, as chances are good that you've been warned about the upcoming volume change. It's irritating and immature, and we don't want to hear about it.
9. Making characters that are WAY Out-of-Character, making a character that could EASILY fail the Mary-Sue Test, and/or willingly choosing not to do one's research before making a character.
-It's irritating as all pit to deal with characters like that.
-They're not very interesting to interact with.
-Blatant refusal to read the archives of the RP, and/or the TF Wikia entry on a specific character falls under this category.
More to be added to the list as needed...
