Roll call: if you're still on regularly, I need you to post here so we can get an idea of how we're working this out.
Suggestions: First of all, I think it would be a good idea to restart again, now that Mandy's gone and we're in the lurch without her characters.
Second, until we get more people in here, I think, unless we come up with a plot, everyone should play at least a few 'Cons(2 or more, shouldn't be a problem, right?).
Third, we should also probably brainstorm some advertising places.
Any suggestions, go ahead and let me know through here, the cbox or over PM if I'm not on to talk.

I'm still here...
I'll still play Scatters and Desi, and I think I can swing a few more 'Cons. For plot suggestions...I'm as lost as you are, Latte.
I've advertised on Desciples of Mist, and I can pimp us out over at the AntiCraft...maybe over at the DragonCave, but that one is kinda iffy...

I am still here. As for 'cons, I can play Hoshiko and Skywarp(and many more if I need too. I has a few cons running around in my mind. Heck, I can even make crazy bloodthirsty 'con. That could be fun.) and D: I have no idea for plots.

Yeah, I'm missing the RP a LOT...and yeah, I've got work/school bogging me down but i still wanna RP. I have my OC, Shaba...and I could play TC as well; I don't think I have the time for major characters (Megs, SS), though.

I'm still around, lurking. I miss RPing too. A lot. I'd be happy to join back in with Starscream, Nightstrike, Red Alert and maybe, possibly Redstar. As for plot... well, I'm at a loss. I think we should veer away from Movieverse and open up the scope a bit more. I can tell by the introduction of Thunderblast that might be on the cards. One of the things that would stop me from making a return, however, is an over abundance of cute/silly/crazy stuff. Please don't get me wrong, I don't want doom and gloom all the while, but I also want plot and substance. I don't want silly snapshots. I want an overall picture that builds over time that is rich and vibrant. Well... that is if I'm still welcome here. If not, please tell me and I'll go my merry way.

*Pouncesnuggles Mandy* OMG YOU CAME BACK! YAY!!! *happy squee*
I think we do need to veer away from movieverse stuff a bit too...We need more 'Cons, and more of a plot...but at the same time, like Mandy said, not all doom and gloom, but a balance.
Real life is going to be kicking a lot of us in the ass soon, myself included, as I will be completing Job Corps and will be leaving the program come January(...which, Ironically enough, will mark the one-year anniversary of me joining you nutters...>3), and trying to get a job secured. I know Ruu has finals coming up for the semester, and to my knowledge, real life has been eating Cetus, SC and Danielle...I'm hoping things work out for the best for all of them and that we'll be seeing them around here in the future.

Heh, ok, looks like I'm still welcome. >.<
Yes, real life is kind of a bummer at times, but that's how it is. I've learned to deal with slow moving threads and the like. Really. I have. Promise!
I'd really like to try and bring Holly back too. She's awesome with Sounders and Rumble and I think it would be great if she had a chance to really show what she can do.

I'm seconding what Den says, we *do* need to come up with more of a plot, and welcome back, Mandy! It would be nice to have Holly back, I think she's a good roleplayer.

*nods* I miss Holly too...and Ruu and Cetus and SC...Hyato(the new guy, yes, guy) makes random appearances, but half the time, I think he forgets that he's a member here...I'll pester him constantly while I'm on Thanksgiving break and then again while I'm on Christmas break...and like I said, i've advertised on a couple of forums I'm on...
Sometime, when everyone's online, we should have a brainstorming session to come up with plot ideas.

I think getting everyone together at the same place at the same time is nigh on impossible though. The other thing we could do is just to decide on a starting point and jump in.

therein lies another problem...getting everyone's opinion on stuff...I for one, have no idea on where we should go...

*peeks in* Hi. I've been lurking around and I am willing to come back. I hear you are abit stuck on plotlines. I have a suggestion if you are interested. My plot idea doesn't take place on Earth.
The Decepticons or Autobots pick up on a strong energy signal on an alien planet but the signal is stronger underground. The 'cons send a few (or the lot, doesn't matter) to go underground via a tunnel which leads to an ancient tomb. Same goes for the 'bots but they don't see eachother so they do not know eachother are in there. Certain rooms have traps (this goes on for a while with different traps in different rooms to make it more interesting) and there are creatures in there too so there is some action going on before the 'cons do meet up with the 'bots.
As I said, only a quick suggestion. It's abit like D&D RP where I narrate about certain things, like what the planet looks like, what's in rooms and about the traps. I just thought it would be more interesting and fun to make it a surprise for people.

Hm. That plot idea works for me.
Um.....as for the crazy/funny things that were going on, I promise to tone down Hoshiko(or Skywarp.) if I need to. Same for Wheelie and Joust. (Although, I don't think my 'bots were THAT bad. I think?)
And, and I can always do a 'con that is serious/bloodthirsty/pysho/whatever too! ...or drag in Shockwave.

That sounds like a good idea. My inner nerd is squealing at the idea of a mixture of D&D and TF(just so long as there's no dice rolling, it never fails to lose me. )

I've never played D&D, but the plot idea sounds good!
Also nice to see pretty much everyone around.

I'm glad you like the idea, it's actually the plot of a comic that I was going to do (but never got around to doing it.) Heh, I've never played D&D either but Mandy told me that it was easier to just say D&D style then to explain the whole thing. As for the dice rolling, I never thought of that but I don't really want to do that. The idea I had in mind was that if something happens where characters are given a choice then I would prefer to let you have that freedom to choose then to let a dice pick for you. The plot I suggested is very basic and whatever happens is down to what the characters do. You never know, if someone does something in particular then it might just change the plot

*raises hand* As a semi-seasoned D&D geek, I'm saying this: Thank Primus we aren't doing dice. those things are a pain in the ass!!!

Amen, dice are a pain. I played D&D a bit when I was in high school and I found it far more enjoyable and fun when we put the dice aside and let the DM just tell us the consequences of our actions. It seemed more spontaneous that way. Of course, the guy who was the DM for the group I played with was very even handed and fair so that did help.
Anyhow, yes, the more I think about it the more I like the idea. Just need to get it going now!
