Wheeljack snorted, unimpressed by Perceptor's comment. "That is you, dear friend, and I am me." Stepping away from the femme once she onlined herself, the inventor only half-listened to the small reunion, until a set of words caught his attention. 'Jack picked turned his optics to Showtime and regarded her with something... similiar to looking at someone like they were insane. "It's called Jet Judo; the twins invented it. Y'know... you're crazy to try it."
---
FrostBite remained happily in the state just between being awake, and being in recharge as Nightstrike began her travel to the medbay. He was lulled more towards recharge by the movement of the femme. By the time she had made it into the medbay, Frost was more asleep than he was holding onto Nightstrike. Such was the thing with sparklings saying they "weren't sleepy." The youngling stirred slightly at the mention of a full protoform; he'd been thinking about that as well. He meant to pick his head up completely, but only managed to mumble against Nightstrike's side, "Let th' other sparklin' come fi'st. S'a lot t'do inna short time."
---
FireBond had relaxed already in Cloudburst's lap, and was actually a bit more curious as to why he had been sent back into the common room. Peering up at his brother and Cloudburst, the sparkling half-squinted his optics. "Why'd Daddy send be back here anyway? What happened?"

Perceptor pinched the bridge of his nose and let out a small sigh. "Primus...Have those two been teaching you their tricks already?" Despite his words, his tone was light, almost amused. He made a mental note to speak with the twins in question, preferably before they'd have a chance to teach Showtime any more of their 'tricks of the trade'.
Showtime shook her head. "I didn't really get a chance to talk with them before things kinda went nuts around here...and yes, I'm well aware that it was a stupid maneuver...I knew it before I did it...but I really didn't care at the time...I was only trying to keep the others from getting hurt..." The last part was said quietly.
----------------
Desinex removed one hand from Quicksilver's chest to tap at her chin in an almost thoughtful manner. "Well...I was thinking of starting the day with some energon and seeing where things go from there..."
---------------
Dewbot tilted his head a bit, admiring his handiwork. The ceilings and walls in the area he had painted were nicely coated with bright pink paint. That alone, to Dewbot, justified breaking out in a fit of celebratory dancing.

Cloudburst didn't like scaring the little guys when things happened, but she didn't ever want to lie to them either. "I just got called out to bring someone back from a fight, the Decepticons had one Autobot and took another. Things might get crazy. So I'm sure he just wanted you safe until we get them back."
She put her chin on Redstar's hand. Sparklings like information, you being on their level, and warmth. Come on down here, love, and talk to him. That's two out of three. And I know you're warm. The last bit had a hint of a purr to it, and impressions of nestling to his chest.

Callous would have grinned as she looked at the place she just spray pink, and cackled evilly, "This...surprisingly was WORTH it. Now... to find out how far my drones got." 'Hey, Fluffy! How are ya doing?' 'Well, Master, we just got done with what we were order to do.' Fluffy said from where he was. 'I do say, Master, that the base look better now.' Bunny cheerfully replied. 'Hehehe, yes, it does.' ~*~*~*~ The knight wondered again while he decided to help spraypaint the base, but... he will admit that it was kinda of amusing. The knightly 'con had a feeling as he moved away from what he did that this will not make Megatron Pleased. At all. ~*~*~*~ Hoshiko giggled madly as she start to put up some hearts around the now almost all pink base, He may kill us for this. So?[/i] She put up the last heart and nodded to herself, "That looks good." OOC: OMG. I wrote something for the cons finally!

Nightstrike's attention was taken off of Soundwave when she heard FrostBite mumble. A small smile tugged at the corners of her mouth as a feeling of happiness washed over her. She would have her baby a little bit longer. Her fingers stroked FrostBite's back as he drifted between asleep and awake and she whispered to him, "That's alright. If you want to wait a bit longer you can."
~*~*~*~
Blue optics danced with amusement as they gazed down at Cloudburst. Redstar's hand turned up to cup her chin in his palm while his fingers lightly stroked her cheek. He had not missed the double meaning of her words and with a slight smirk sent back to her, Watch it...
Slowly, he slipped into the floor next to his bonded and wrapped an arm around her waist. Giving FireBond a cheeky look he said in a conspiratorial whisper, "You'll figure it out soon 'nuff, but dad's a worrier to the extreme. Does it all the time. Somethin' spooks him and he freaks. Guess it comes with the job."
~*~*~*~
Quicksilver laid his head back, shuttered his optics and sighed, "Hmmm... Sounds fine to me." He made no move to leave though as he felt extremely content with where he was and who he was with.

Nebula snuggled into her mother's lap, shuttering her optics contentedly. The femme held her daughter close as the sparkling drifted off. Bee frowned, not liking being out of the loop. --------------------------------- Showdown wandered down the halls, a deep frown etched into her faceplates. She didn't want to think about what could be happening to Ratchet at that moment - the sooner they got him out of there, the sooner her guilt could be erased. --------------------------------- Frenzy looked at his handiwork, two arms crossed as he surveyed the newly-bright pink walls. Granted, it had taken far longer than he had liked, climbing up and down the walls to reach all the spots, but it was probably worth it. Megatron would be angry, he was sure, but if he was caught, he would simply rat out all the others involved.
Then again, he didn't intend to be caught. The tiny hacker darted away from the scene.

Wheeljack had to snicker lightly at Perceptor's predictable reaction, but remained in the background for most of the conversation. Really now, the twins weren't all that bad. Sure, they had their moments, but they were generally an alright set of mechs. So long as you weren't on the receiving end of their attacks, or their pranks. He caught Showtime's quiet words, and decided now was as good a time as ever to step in. "Well, you did a pretty good job. There's no telling what might've happened if you hadn't of distracted... Judging by the paint, Skywarp."
---
FireBond listened to Cloudburst's words, a frown coming onto his face. Decepticon. Autobot. An Autobot, two Autobots were missing, and it was because of the Decepticons. Something didn't feel right inside of him and he squirmed lightly in Cloudburst's lap. He didn't like the feeling. "We will get them back, right?" What bothered him more than whatever it was stirring inside of him was the fact that two Autobots were missing. Two of his father's comrades. The sparkling tilted his head to one side as his brother began to speak, once he had moved down onto the floor with the other two of them. As Redstar spoke, Fire slowly clambered his way out of Cloudburst's lap and into the older mechs, sitting down quite comfortably to look up at his big brother. "Will you worry about your sparklings when you have them?"
---
FrostBite was lulled into sleep even more with Nightstrike's faint touches along his back. He was content, staying how he was against his mother's side. But something inside him begged for action, for him to do something. For the moment, he pushed away the growing need for revenge. The states of his deceased parents and brother were not going to change; revenge could wait a while. A long while, if necessary.
---
So many things had changed, and there was a lot to catch up on. And not just with Red, either. Familiar spark signatures had been coming and going, anyone from Wheeljack to Bumblebee. And when had he gotten so big? Pft, he felt old, Inferno thought, standing up from his original position to grab another cube of energon. Heading back from the dispenser, his optics caught Red Alert's two sons. He'd seen the looks the older one had been giving him. Letting a sigh come out as he sat back down, Inferno made sure his optics remained nuetral in their gaze, not wanting to agitate the older son much more than he already had. Just by sitting next to his father. He offlined his optics for a second, rebooting them once he heard Red Alert reapproach. Can we go somewhere else? He questioned his friend over a prive commline. Redstar was really... kinda unnerving him.

"Perhaps keep him occupied with the faster movers. I think, four teams, four mechs each. Two to engage 'Cons within base, one to extract, one to engage the base mech, keep him busy and away," suggested the tactician. "We have no time for intricate maneuvers. Hitting hard and fast now gives us the best chance of success."
Prowl's doorwings flicked once. "Airlift would be the fastest method of getting them back. Suggest planting flyers a little past midpoint, on standby, with two others to cover retreat."
--------------------
Dissever's glance shifted from Nightstrike, to Blizzard, then back to Nightstrike, a mild expression of puzzlement hovering around his optics.
"What about Blizzard? We get on fine," he replied, carefully feigning innocence. "I haven't yet had a chance to start; but we'll get to that soon..." the medic's words trailed off as Soundwave came in, handed him a datapad that he read with interest and a question.
"This thing - it scrambles code, breaks them up... Interesting. Yes, it can be replicated. You're looking at direct contact to transmit... And that's the hard part, getting it into the host, so to speak. I think... I can't give you a complete analysis now. But I will send a report to Lord Megatron later, and copy it to you."
--------------------
Silence, pooling energon and pain. Distress flickering through systems. Shimmer of a warning, risk of overheating. No response from left arm. Potential hairline cracks in armour, infrastructure...
Ratchet slumped against the wall, where he'd dragged himself. Barely conscious, and feeling violated to the very core. Slow simmering anger at Soundwave. He let his optics shutter, regret echoing through him. Shouldn't have let Starscream goad him, shouldn't have engaged the Seeker, shouldn't have... world blurring out in a shift of gray, sliding into stasis.

Redstar blinked a bit and gave Cloudburst a sheepish look. He hadn't thought of having sparklings of his own. There was plenty of time for that, besides, he and Cloudburst hadn't been together all that long anyhow. But just because he hadn't thought of having sparklings yet didn't mean that he couldn't answer the question.
Rubbing the back of his neck, he chuckled softly and smiled, "Course I'll worry 'bout them. Ya always worry 'bout the ones ya love." He gave Cloudburst a wink.
~*~*~*~
Nightstrike gathered up FrostBite and headed back to her quarters where she settled the sparkling down for a nap. She soon lay next to him and dropped off into recharge.
~*~*~*~
Soundwave nodded at the CMO and left the medbay to report back to Megatron.
"Dissever believes replication is possible. He will deliver a full report shortly."
~*~*~*~
Red blinked for a moment at the comm and slowly nodded.
Um, sure.
Red's processor spun wildly. Where? Where should they go? He felt both edgy and excited. It was a feeling that he both enjoyed and hated at the same time. Running a quick scan of the base he found the training room was empty.
There's no one in the training room. Follow me. I'll show you the way.
As he left the common room, he was sure he felt Inferno's optics trained on his back and he fought a shudder. What he was feeling confused him no end and made him frown slightly.

Showtime smiled a bit, sheepishly. Perceptor shook his head again, before addressing Rewire. "Would it be alright if I escorted her to the common room and then to her quarters? Or does she need to remain in the medbay for a bit longer?"
-------------------
Desinex resumed her tracing of meaningless patterns, not really wanting to move. She was...content. Something she hadn't been for a very long time, and she was wont to disturb the feeling. Her fuel pump, on the other hand, had opposing ideas.
With a soft sigh, the femme slowly extracted herself from Quicksilver's grasp, before meandering to the door. She paused, glancing back to admire Quicksilver briefly.
---------------------
The meteorite struck in the middle of a car dealership. None of the humans present noticed when one of the vehicles seemed to drive off by itself, as they were all preoccupied with the large impact crater and damaged vehicles.
A human male flickered into existence in the driver's seat as the vehicle moved towards the outskirts of the heavily populated area. It wouldn't do to be caught at this time, as he had someplace he had to get to. Can't believe I missed the base by so much! I just hope I don't run into any Decepticons...
Bluestreak to Autobot Base, I've arrived and am currently en route. I'm not quite sure how long it'll take me to get to the base, though. I just hope it doesn't start raining. It doesn't look like it'll rain, but you never know, it could just suddenly start pouring...

"Good. Good. I look forward to it."
The Veyron tapped impatient fingers on a console. No doubt the Autobots would come soon. It only remained to see how soon... especially considering that they had the Autobot CMO with them.
Let them come... he had what he wanted, and the CMO was now expendable.
Let them come.

Rewire cocked his helm and scanned Showtime quickly. "Long as she feels up to it, doesn't hafta stick 'round here." he told Perceptor. "She checks out fine, just keep an optic on her."
----------
Cloudburst smiled, leaning into his touch and playfully answered Yes, Big Man in a demure tone, as if she had actually been chastised. Once he sat and wrapped his arm around her, the copter wiggled slightly into Redstar's side. She was glad that he had managed to overcome some of the trepidation over FireBond. “We always bring them back, sweetie,” she whispered softly, answering the sparkling’s first question.
She was amused to no end when Fire clambered from her lap to her bonded’s. It almost hurt to suppress a nervous and expectant stuttering noise when he asked Redstar about future sparklings she and the armored vehicle might share, but he adeptly answered the question. After laughing softly, Cloudburst rested her helm against his shoulder.
---------
“Excellent, Prowl.” Optimus turned aside and started filling the best fit mechs and femmes into the teams the Nissan had outlined.
Ironhide listened to the planning between the two officers, trying to put a lock on his desperation for action. He never enjoyed this stillness and planning they so often insisted upon just before an engagement, but this was simply gnawing his spark out of existence. They were wasting time. It was not a certainty that the Autobots within Decepticon headquarters had time.
The TopKick shuddered to motion and pushed away from the wall. Prime eyed the black mech over his shoulder, tensing to intervene again, but it soon became apparent that that would not be required. The weapons specialist was radiating heat on infrared, but obviously working hard to channel that rage into something productive.
“Prowl,” came the gravelly designation, the speaker staring hard somewhere behind the tactician’s left foot, as much of an apology as he could muster under the circumstances. “I need to be in there. On extraction. Need to get him out.”

Prowl tipped his head, blinked at the Topkick, fighting a little swirl of guilt. If only he'd moved faster. Then they wouldn't be in this situation, all of them, and Ratchet...
"We need the firepower," he said quietly. "You are in, Ironhide..."
Considering little tip of a doorwing as Prowl glanced down at datapad in hand. It was true; they needed a team to be able get right into the cell block, and out again, and very early on he'd shuffled Ironhide's name among those he'd flagged for the teams.
It could be disastrous, he reflected - Ratchet would not be in good shape, and judging from Ironhide's earlier reactions, he would definitely not take to that well. Simply knowing that the CMO had been lost to Decepticon hands had caused him to snap. Seeing the damage done to the CMO... But he trusted the Topkick's long battle experience. Trusted that he would be able to do his job and get them back. And Ironhide was a mech of action. Sidelining him would be counterproductive.
"You will head the extraction team," he said quietly. "Bring them back safely."

Awake... but not.
Aware... but not.
Alone... but not.
In perfect blackness a consciousness had been formed from the firey dance of two mingling sparks. This consciousness, this sparkling, was the result. Slowly it stirred, awake in a way, but not as a corporeal being would understand it. There were times when it took notice of cues from the world beyond the safety of its mother's spark chamber. It could hear a voice, sometimes more than one, but the voice of its mother was predominant. Other times it would be aware of movement, usually a gentle swaying that came from the gait of its mother. There was always the sound of energon pumping in fuel lines in a soothing rushing sound.
The sparkling continued to grow, to mature and slowly simple conciousness grew into an awareness of both the presence of its mother and of its self. The very being of the mother was omnipresent, surrounding the sparkling with what was essentially herself, yet the sparkling still remained seperate from the mother, an entity in its own right. The sparkling grew very aware of the emotions of the mother. Contentment, happiness, and love were some of the easier ones for the little one to cope with but at times more turbulent emotions threatened to overcome the sparkling. Fortunately, for now at least, the mother seemed happy enough.
Exploring its mother's memories, it learned. It learned of Decepticons and Autobots. It learned of siblings, Quicksilver and FrostBite. It learned of those to be wary of. Images of faces loomed in the darkness, acquainting the sparkling with those whom the mother considered friends, who were enemies and those who she had rather mixed feelings for. One face presented itself more than any other as did the thoughts and feelings associated with this particular being. Finally, a whispered question crossed from child to mother.
"Who is this?"
Nightstrike came online suddenly as the little voice entered her processor and she smiled, waiting to hear it again.
Who is Megatron?
With a smile, Nightstrike replied, "He is your father."
There was a moment of silence.
Dad~dy? Came a thoughtful yet questioning reply.
Nightstrike softly laughed, "Yes, that's right. Daddy."
~*~*~*~
Quicksilver smirked, rolled onto his side and propped his head up allowing Desinex to get a better look.
"Off to the common room it is then."
Languidly he rose from the bed, left the room and roughly pulled Desi to his side, his arm wrapping around her waist tightly.

FireBond peered up at his brother, almost as if questioning the reply he received. "Then.. when will you have sparklings?" They were a small family, by Fire's standard. First there had been Red Alert and Redstar, and Cloudburst since the bonded was always counted. And now there was FireBond, him. Four, in all, most of them mechs. If there was a possibility that the family would grow, Fire wanted to be aware of it. He didn't understand why, he just wanted to know these things.
---
Inferno picked up on Red's nervous body language, even if it was subtle, and out of no where. Just because he didn't expect it. Disposing of the now-empty cube as they exited, the fire engine had to think of a way to get the conversation back to the relaxed way it had been in. He didn't like the uncomfortable silence between them, and he would have to pick his words carefully. 'Man, now Red's rubbin' off on me.' Taking longer strides to catch up with his friend, Inferno laid a hand on the security director's shoulder. "Sorry 'bout that," he said smoothy, giving an apologetic smile. He knew it was random to ask if they could go somewhere else. "I swear, y've got me lookin' over mah shoulder all th' time, Red. 'Specially with those new faces."
---
Rain. Apparently, this entire planet was all about rain, and Downrush found that mildly annoying. When he had landed, it had been a clear night with a star-filled sky. He had managed to get a reasonable alt form and gather his wits to get the coordinates right. Soon after he had left, sometime around dawn, it had started pouring "buckets" of rain. Looking at said phrase and a picture of a "bucket" over the internet, Downrush decided that it was more like "dumptrucks" of rain. At least the alt-form had been made to deal with water. The coordinates were definite, but it took more concentration than he thought it would to keep his holoform active in rain. Maybe an alt without a roof hadn't been such a good idea. Guh, everything felt so wet inside him. It was uncomfortable, but at least he still had a handle on the coordinates sent out by the Autobots. The rest of his team probably should've already arrived, but he had lagged behind as a distraction for the Decepticon scout team trailing them. He'd come out alive at least.

Redstar looked a bit more uncomfortable at this question, let out a whistle from his vocal processor and gave Cloudburst a sidelong glance. His hand went to the back of his neck for a moment as he tried to find a way to answer FireBond.
"Um, dunno. Kinda big thing, havin' sparklin's. I reckon we'll just know when th' time's right. Right, Cloudburst?" His voice sounded strained near the end. FireBond seemed to have a knack for asking awkward questions and it made him feel a bit wary of what might come next.
~*~*~*~
Red *jumped* when Inferno's hand clamped down on his shoulder. He frowned a bit, but quickly pushed the uneasiness he felt to the side, well, he tried to at least.
"Hmm? New faces? Yes, I suppose there are quite a few new members of the team, but you shouldn't have to keep looking over your shoulder." He glanced up at Inferno with a serious expression, "That's my job. Remember?"
He walked on a bit further, trying his hardest to keep his movements smooth and easy, but could feel his servos stiffen with the anxiousness he felt.
"Ah, um, the training room's just through here." Entering a code into the keypad next to the door, it opened to allow them access. Red quickly ducked inside and could not shake the feeling that he was doing something he shouldn't. He shook his head and chuckled to himself over it all.

“When we’re ready, Redstar.” Cloudburst muffled a little giggle against her sparkmate’s broad shoulder, then smiled at the brothers. Those type of questions were par for the sparkling course, it seemed. “I don’t think there are any immediate plans, boys.”
--------------
A brief nod of thanks, low rumble, “Of course.” Ironhide’s massive shoulders shifted back down to a more relaxed position. Yes, he knew what kind of condition in which he should expect to find Ratchet. He’d seen often enough what Decepticons would do to… and cannons clicked softly. The Weapons Specialist pulled back impatiently, waiting for the command to let slip the hounds, Primus help whatever got in his way.
-------------
Normally he would have called a meeting, given the assorted mechs and femmes time to gather into the meeting room, looked each of them in the optic and explained the situation and plan for resolution. This situation held an urgency like few others. Spectre had been in Decepticon hands for… how long had he been AWOL?... and now Ratchet, an officer was in the same situation. His higher rank was most likely a liability for the medic.
Optimus opened the commlines, apologizing quickly for the burst transmission. It was brief and succinct.
Decepticons are holding two of our own, Spectre and Ratchet. We need to move, fast.
First we require a distraction to draw out and distract the jets, detonations away from the ‘Con base. – Wheeljack that’s you.
Teams – ~Extraction – Ironhide, Showtime, Mosquito and Redstar – go in fast and quiet, retrieve the mechs. ~Two teams continuing distraction within the base – Optimus, Pheonix, Deluge and Showdown as one, Prowl, Bumblebee, Calypso, and Inferno as the other. – the job is to keep the Decepticons scrambling and off balance, be loud, but smart, keep them running. ~Issues with the base mech – Wheeljack, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, Depth Charge and Coast Guard – keep him off the rest of the teams, demolitions, speed use whatever tactics will keep you functional. ~Midway – Cloudburst, Whirlwind, Perceptor, and Bluestreak – remain just past midway between our two headquarters, ready to move in for airlifting ~Support remaining here – Red, communications; Rewire, on call in medbay; Raven, guard the sparklings.
Meet your groups ASAP and comm myself or Prowl with questions.
Opimus stood and moved to the door. Ironhide looked at his CO, then silently moved to his side.
((Yeah, rather than pulling a “drop what you are doing now and go to a meeting”, finish up, and move out when your guys are ready))

Perceptor nodded and assisted Showtime in getting off of the berth. "I believe we should begin preparing for the return of our Medic..." Showtime nodded, as she leaned against her guardian. The pair headed for the common room, so Showtime could get some energon and at least try to get back to top form.
-----------------------------------
Desinex growled a bit, but let Quicksilver pull her against him. "Yes, to the common room..."
-----
The weather had steadily gotten worse the farther west Bluestreak went, until finally, the heavens had opened and a torrential downpour had started just outside the human city of Oklahoma City. The holoform scowled, before turning off on a side road. He wasn't familiar with the signs, and thus, had turned off on a "B" level road, ie: dirt that was quickly turning to mud. Mud that was quickly getting hard to steer through, and suddenly, there was no longer a road, but a ditch.
Um...if there's anyone nearby...This is Bluestreak...I've...managed to get myself stuck in a ditch...I'll try getting myself out, but I'm not sure I can...
--------------------------
WakeJumper stirred, woken from recharge by Optimus's comm. "Wha's goin' on?" the youngling asked, punctuating his question with a yawn.

Deluge stirred, brought out of recharge by the comm. She frowned, sitting up. "Sounds like we've got a pair of prisoners to go get back. Well...not us two, personally. I get to just blow stuff up and keep their attention, and you're staying at base."She stretched and got to her feet.
Mosquito and Bumblebee both sat bolt upright when the comm came through. Nebula could feel the tension around her increse and whimpered softly. Her mother rubbed her back gently. "Shh, it's okay, sweetie, but you have to stay with Raven a while, okay?" The little sparkling frowned. "Wanna stay with you, though..."she sniffled. Her dad took his daughter, lifting her up to optic level. "Listen, Nebula, I would love to stay here with you, but both of us have to go. You have to stay. Just behave yourself and play with your friends till we get back, okay?" Nebula frowned, then nodded. "Okay, I guess." "Good girl. We'll be back as soon as we can be."Bumblebee set the sparkling on the floor and she made her way over to Raven as her parents left the room.

Fire laughed at the whistling sound his brother made, bouncing excitedly in the way that most young beings did when something amused them. And Redstar whistling was very entertaining for him. He completely missed on the fact that his brother was more than uneasy with his question, though. How was he supposed to know that questions about sparklings always left the newly bonded couples feeling more than awkward? But he did catch the strange strain on Redstar's words near the end, and he frowned, tilting his head to one side. What had he said wrong? When the comm came through, even to the sparklings, FireBond squeaked and pressed closer to Redstar, glancing around the common room with wide optics. What was going on?
---
That was the second time Red Alert had jumped when touched. Inferno frowned as he noted that, but kept it quiet inside of him until they had made it into the training room. He looked around, noticing that the place practically radiated Ironhide with a small smirk before turning to Red Alert. "Red, wha's goin' on? That's th' second time today y've acted like I shot ya. What's goin' on-" The transmission from Optimus cut him off, and Inferno paid attention to it with a frown on his faceplate. Muttering curses under his breath, Inferno rolled his optics up towards the ceiling, mentally asking Primus why. He loved going into action, but of all the times... Reaching out and touching Red on the shoulder-lightly this time, just a tap-, Inferno steered him to the doorway. "We're gonna finish this later." He couldn't keep the finalizing tone out of his words. "Y'go 'nd git t'the control room. I'll catch up with ya later." Giving his friend one more nudge towards the control room, Inferno watched him for a moment more before taking off in the other direction, opening a commline to Prowl. Where're me meetin' at?

The only thing that had brought Sunstreaker back out of the quarters he now shared with his twin was the comm. Dragging Sideswipe with him. "It can sit for a while, c'mon. Staying around here is about to drive me crazy." Continuing to tug his twin on along behind him, Sunstreaker made his way down towards the base exit. Working with Wheeljack proved to be promising in the explosions category, but if one of those things so much as smudged his paint job... Sunstreaker's optics narrowed at the thought.

Phoenix had slipped into a blissful state of near-recharge once Ironhide had left the common room, curled up with her feet tucked under her. The thing that jarred her into complete awareness was the comm, that she paid attention to before smirking. A raid on the 'Con base sounded promising, she reflected as she stood and stretched. Promising enough to ward off boredom.

Wheeljack rolled his optics, bidding Rewire farewell before heading off to meet with his team. A 'destration' indeed. Checking his holds for whatever might be explosive. Which, knowing him, they would be explosive, come "hail or high water."

Driving in the kind of weather that had descended on Downrush was not perfect traveling weather. The back road he had taken (s'hard to cover up the fact his holoform had been offlined) had quickly become more of a muddy river than an actual road, dirt or not. Thankfully, something about his alt form proved to be useful, and Downrush managed to keep his tracks on the slippery ground. The Aquabot was bit surprised as the comm came through, but immediately responded to it. It had been on Autobot frequency. This is Downrush, Bluestreak. Mind telling me where you are-ah! There you are. Pulling up along-side the off road Sunfire, Downrush regarded him in mild amusement. Don't try and get out by yourself, he muttered over the commline, transforming since the rain was too thick for any humans to see him clearly. You'll end up hurting yourself. Reaching into the ditch, it was quite easy for Downrush to pull Bluestreak out of the ditch, but it was much harder to keep his own footing. Once the Pontiac had been returned to not-quite-solid ground, Downrush transformed back down into his alt form. Think you can make it the rest of the way?
